פיצוי לעובדים מושבתים מעל גיל 67

נדרש מענה למפוטרים מעל גיל הפרישה

במשבר שנוצר במשק בעקבות מלחמת אוקטובר 2023, והוצאתם מהעבודה של עשרות אלפי עובדים, אחת מהקבוצות הכי פגיעות היתה עובדים מעל גיל 67, שאינם זכאים כלל לדמי אבטלה על פי חוק. 

מהשבוע השני למלחמה קיבלנו פניות מאזרחים ותיקים שהוצאו לחל"ת, ואין להם דרך להתקיים כיוון שאין להם פנסיה, וקצבת הזקנה הנמוכה אינה מספיקה למחייתם. בתקופת הקורונה, עובדים מבוגרים שפוטרו או הוצאו לחל״ת קיבלו מענקי הסתגלות של עד 4,000 ש״ח לחודש.

מה הצענו?

פנינו לממשלה בבקשה לתת מענקים חודשיים לאזרחים ותיקים מעל גיל 67 שפוטרו או הוצאו לחל"ת אחרי ה-7 אוקטובר, על מנת להגן על אוכלוסייה זו ולאפשר להם לשרוד את התקופה עד לחזרתם לעבודה. הצענו לקבל מתווה הדומה למענקי ההסתגלות, שקידמנו והתקבלו בתקופת הקורונה.

אלפי עובדים מושבתים מעל גיל הפרישה קיבלו תמיכה מהמדינה! 

פעלנו ביחד עם עוד 50 ארגוני חברה אזרחית ושכנעו את ועדת הכספים בכנסת לאשר מענקי סיוע חודשים לבני 67 ומעלה שפוטרו או הוצאו לחל״ת. המענקים היו בגובה של 75% מהמשכורת החודשית, ועד למקסימום של 4,000 ש"ח לחודש. הם ניתנו בחודשים אוקטובר עד דצמבר 2023.

אחר כך, פנינו לממשלה בבקשה להמשיך את מענקי הסיוע למפוטרים מעל גיל 67 ואת ההקלות בדמי אבטלה לאנשים עם מוגבלויות ולמפוני הדרום והצפון גם בחודשים ינואר-פברואר 2024. זאת לצד צעדים לעידוד החזרה של עובדים מחל"ת, כדי למנוע היווצרות אבטלה כרונית וארוכת טווח. פעלנו לכך באינטנסיביות בתקשורת ובכנסת, אך לצערנו הפעם בקשתנו לא נענתה.
